Resolve every reference.
Collect every file.
Loom ingests editorial timelines — AAF, XML, EDL, FCPXML, OTIO — resolves every media reference against on-disk assets, and outputs relinked timelines or collects referenced media. Every clip accounted for, every path verified.
Import
Drop an AAF, XML, EDL, FCPXML, or OTIO timeline. Loom parses the edit and extracts every media reference — clip names, reel IDs, source paths, timecodes. The timeline structure is preserved exactly as the editor left it.
Resolve
Search paths are scanned, filenames and reel names are matched. Every reference gets a status: matched, ambiguous, or missing. Ambiguous matches show you the candidates so you can pick the right one.
Collect
Matched media is copied (never moved) to a single location. Output timelines are relinked to the collected paths. The original sources stay exactly where they are — Loom only reads from them.
Verify
Every collected file is verified against its source. The output timeline references exactly match the collected media. If something doesn't line up, you know before it leaves your facility.
