Arm the camera, set frame rate and resolution, trigger recording, tag shots, manage circular buffer. Every command requires explicit confirmation. No accidental overwrites.
Download
Pull .cine files from the camera to disk. Every transfer is hash-verified. If the file on disk does not match what left the camera, you know immediately. Not after the camera is wrapped.
Handoff
Downloaded .cine files flow into the rest of the datum pipeline. Wrangler verifies the copy. Plate reads the metadata. The camera is free to shoot again.
